General meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Cafe Carpe, 18 South Water Street West, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.
Showings of the film "King Corn" King Corn,called "enormously entertaining" and "a moral, socio-economic odyssey through the American food system" by critics, is the next in the Food for Thought film series sponsored by Sustain Jefferson and hosted by Heart of the City and the Fort Hospital.
Come view this latest feature playing for free will donations at the Fort Atkinson Hospital auditorium at 7:00 pm on Monday, January 25th, 2010. Refreshments will be available.
If you cannot make this screening, it will be shown twice more in the county -- at 7:00 in Lake Mills on Tuesday, Jan. 26th, and 6:30 at the Watertown Senior Center on Wednesday, Jan. 27th. All proceeds benefit local organizations working at a grassroots level to bring sustainable change to Jefferson County. If you can't make it to any of the showings, the film is available through your local public library.

Support Your Community - City Council meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. - Planning Commission meets 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 4:00 p.m. Both meetings are at the Municipal Building, Council Chambers, second floor.
