Heart of the City Meetings

The next meeting is Monday, March 8th, at the Cafe Carpe, 18 S. Water Street, West, Fort Atkinson, starting with a 6:00 potluck dinner, with general meeting to start at 7:00 pm. Families welcome. Invited guests: Fort Atkinson City Council members, Jefferson County Board supervisors from the urban and rural Fort Atkinson districts.

Showings of the film "Back to the Land"

A viewing of the film, Back to the Land. . .Again is taking place at the Fort Hospital Auditorium, 611 Sherman Avenue E, Fort Atkinson at 7:00 pm on Monday, March 22nd. Invited guests: area farmers to speak after the forty minute film, which highlights successful CSA farms throughout Wisconsin. Refreshments provided. Freewill donations accepted.

City of Fort Atkinson Storm Water Management

Local Food In Our Schools

The School District in Oconomowoc is getting locally-grown fresh fruits and veggies to their school children in their school lunches. We hope this article inspires similar collaboration here in Fort Atkinson. Is anyone interested in taking this up?

- Planning Commission meets 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 4:00 p.m.
Both meetings are at the Municipal Building, Council Chambers, second floor.
